Thanks for the comment Sam. I'll check out the book you mentioned. Thats interesting about the scientists and physicists. I come from a pretty magical thinking new agey community, where if they read my post, I would get crucified.

Now if I could just get myself to take consistent action. I too believe the universe rewards action. I've been the king of procrastination most of my adult life...sigh.

Thanks for the comment Russ, as you are my first "real" comment.
I too would like to see some kind of study, as to whether it could be proven that the "Law" works. I've searched the internet, and most in the physics world cry hoax, so...

Thank you - I found your blog through Yaro, too ... finally, some balance out of the bullshit ...
What concerns me about The Secret is the claims it makes to science - Karen Kelly's book, The Secret Behind The Secret, tells of the disgruntled scientists and physicists whose words were misquoted and selectively edited in the the movie. The book offers many other interesting insights into this so called "secret". (No, I don't now the author - I just think she's done a great job of showing the other side of the coin).
There are always two (or 10) sides to every story or belief - it's good to investigate at least more than one.

You're right when you talk about the need to take action - despite what these authors would have us believe, you do have to get off your butt to make things happen, and I have often read that the Universe rewards action. Rhonda Byrne was supposedly sitting in her Sydney apartment when the idea came to her. She subsequently packed her bag and flew to the US to talk to those who became involved in the project. I'll bet my last buck, the project would never have happened if she just sat there in Sydney imagining it.
