It is with some regret, that we have nothing BIG to report to you at this time. Lately it’s been a large effort towards bearing down on the goal of creating internet income streams. At some point, as things pan out, we will begin to write about the process so that you too can benefit from the knowledge, and yes, the struggles and challenges involved in creating such streams. Overall we have had many small successes that are motivating us to continue.
The funny thing is, was that I entered into this thinking I knew a great deal about the subject. As it turns out, I hadn’t even scraped the surface about what turns out to be a labyrinth of conflicting, confusing, misinformation. There are as many ways to make money inline as there are people, and with Google changing the rules all the time, it’s a subject that you can never fully “know”, even if you tried. There are also a huge amount of scams leading to a huge waste of time and money, so if you go this route, BEWARE!
Like a good nomad, I liken it to sailing, with Google and the internet at large, representing the ocean. The best you can do is start sailing hopefully with some knowledge and know-how to get your boat started and hopefully not crash and drown. Then as your skill increases, learn to read the winds and adjust your course accordingly. It’s a wild ride and definitely not for everyone. If you want some form of stability, work a job! But for us, there is no substitute and no turning back, so full sail and full speed ahead.
The weather has finally started to turn in these parts, the foothills below the Sierra Nevada Range, towards warmer weather. It was challenging to come from the desert into rain and snow. Someone on the radio described it as “bi-polar weather”, with wild mood swings throwing us around at the mercy of Mother Nature. The nicer weather definitely helps one to stay balanced and to endure.
The warmer weather has had us going to the South Yuba River almost every day possible, to counter balance the saturation and compulsion of internet over-working. There is something about running in the hills and forests, and then dunking repeatedly in the wild water that is rejuvenating beyond compare. I feel sorry for people working regular jobs that can’t experience this. Grounding into the Earth and the Elements is an indescribably delicious experience.
Overall, we plan to begin migrating up in elevation towards the Sierras, so should have some material to transmit once that begins. It’s not that we haven’t been doing anything exciting, for there have definitely been some great occurrences and experiences. The Internet Income thing has been all consuming though, leaving little time and energy to do further writing and work on NuNativs. I feel bad letting it lay dormant for so long, but when we resume operations, it’ll be on a much better foot than where we left off.
So, bear with me my friends and thanks for those of you out there who have tuned in, and have been checking in on things. We really appreciate the attention and support thus far, and we hope to have things rolling along in a much bigger, smoother way in the very near future. Hope all your travels this coming summer are rejuvenating and positive for you!
