“Those who look through the bars, instead of at them, Live with the Illusion of being FREE”, (Joe and Kay Peterson, Founders of The Escapees.)
Behold, the American Dream?!?
Our forefathers and foremothers pursued and promised us a life of freedom. But as you really take a good look around you, what do you see? Starting to see the same four walls around you over, and over, and over again? Are your actions during any given day things you HAVE to do, or things you WANT to do? Is this the life we were meant to live? Is this really living at all?

Looking AT the bars.
Well intentions aside, we’ve seem to collectively create a self-made trap of gigantic proportions. Various regular occurring payments become a gun to the head, as if they are not taken care, one will find themselves homeless, or worse. Modern Life becomes a script, with small allotted escapees, and copious amounts of alcohol, arranged conveniently to keep everyone below the breaking point.
All Work And No Play

March of an all too monotonous drummer.
It is a well known fact that hunter, gatherer tribes, spent some average of 2-4 hours a day, “working”, to provide the basics and necessities of Life, the remainder of the day being spent in play, contemplation and other meaningful activity. Contrast that with the modern “cave” dweller who labors a “normal” proclaimed work day of 8+ hours, merely to come to their estranged home, wife, kids etc., too tired to pursue anything of value, other than getting inebriated and watching some lobe-numbing entertainment to soothe the pain.
We need to ask ourselves an honest question:
Are we really being productive, or merely filling space, or wasting time?
To U.S., it looks like a colossal waste of human energy. We seem to be Living Lives of quiet desperation. Regular payments due, and the noose of debt, drive and motivate our actions regardless of collective consequences. The cop NEEDS crime to pay the bills; the lawyer NEEDS chaos to pay the bills; the doctor NEEDS cancer to pay the bills; the Mickey D worker needs overweight people who can’t take care of themselves to pay THEIR bills too, everyone addicted to chaotic activity to keep afloat in a FREE society, regardless if the activities are helpful or harmful to U.S. overall.

Productive work or paying the "bills"?
Defining Freedom
To begin to honestly grapple with this conundrum, one soon needs to acknowledge the fact, that at the basis of all human desire, at the basis of all human action, is to desire for freedom. Freedom is our legacy. Freedom is our birthright. Freedom is at the foundation and basis of every whim and plan we come up with in life. What you see in your lovers eyes, a sunset, the new car, the job promotion, the massive house is your innate desire and yearning to be free.

Ssssshhhhhhh!
One of the best definitions of freedom that we have heard is this: The ability to do what you want, when you want, with whom you want, (provided they want you to do it too), without guilt, fear, shame, coercion, or unwanted obligation. This is the ability to live a non-manipulated life. So in light of this current definition, let us examine our job system to see how free we truly are. Honestly ask yourself these revealing questions:
- What would I be doing right now if I could do anything I wanted?
- Can I get up and go outside right now, or even the bathroom?
- What and when would I be eating if I could choose?
- Where would I be right now if I could be anywhere that I wanted?
- Am I fully able to honor my Biological Birthrights, t.m., today working this job?
- Is money the main reason that I am enduring this job, boss, employer?
- Am I writing this song, writing this book, learning this dance, painting this picture, or other creative endeavor, because I want to, because I believe in it, or because I hope to cash in?
- Is OUR society actually benefiting from me performing this repetitive task over and over again?
- Is this my True passion, my True reason for being?
There’s A Better Way

Flying free is WHY you are here...
Once WE acknowledge the sobering answers, we begin to restructure civilization and culture to more humanely take care of ourselves and each other. We can reshape culture to honor our innate biological birthrights first, as ancient peoples instinctively knew, namely to be able to bathe daily in the Sources of Life, Sun, Air, Water, and Earth without restriction or payments due.
NuNativs believes whole-heartedly that being truly A/Live, is a fulltime job. When we say fully A/Live, we emphasize not just existing, but thriving. We believe it is impossible to thrive in the physical plain, without taking care of our Biological NEEDS, first and foremost. One who cannot procure Sun on naked skin, pure rarefied Air to breathe, WILD water to bathe and play in, and good WILD earthy food to eat, as well as Earth to play and take the beautiful sights in, each and every day, cannot hardly claim to be anywhere near buzzing a/Liveness.
These are OUR daily biological Birthrights WE must re-claim as OUR own.
You Deserve More
The challenge is clear, but the way out for ALL, is one of weight. Each one of US, must find the courage to say no more, as the restless Youth does before being conditioned and pressured to give up. We must demand more from this precious Life we have been given without compromise. We will pursue the loopholes in modern culture to position ourselves effectively to help the others. As more of us reclaim our inherent birthright of freedom once again, that which was blatantly taken from the primitive cultures, real satisfying Freedom, will once again become our Reality. Our “job”, will simply be, being Fully A/Live.

Don't let this happen to YOU!
Please, extricate yourself as fast as humanly possible.
Retirement starts now, at any age…The Real funhouse is Outside.
YOUR Life is an invaluable resource. Don’t waste a moment of it!
See you in the Garden of Delights,
NuNativs

You really need to stop begging for money…that’s just freeloading for the thing that you claim you are rejecting. What do you need money for? If you need it, why don’t you find a better way to get some. Maybe you could work for it and actually produce a product or service that someone wants and is willing to pay for. Maybe you could trade it for hides or blankets or pemican. I don’t see what you’ve delivered that is valuable to me, and I won’t donate a cent to your lazy, uneducated, mooching leeching life. You need to take your nomadic uninspired and unspirational lifestyle out to the desert and leave the rest of us alone without you until you decide to adapt to a better way…the 21st century.
Thanks for that comment. That was really helpful to me, and helped inspire me to write a post to address it. A conversation about this both positive or negative is what I’m looking for…
