The Dilemma

Ever since I first read the above quote, I’ve never really looked at the human condition the same. In essence, it seems to me we’re all just shooting ourselves in our collective big toe. Recognizing this dilemma, I’ve wanted to start a dialogue, discussing a better way of going through Life together, and most importantly extracting ourselves out of this collective mess, i.e., build a better mousetrap…preferably minus the trap!

What’s a NuNativs?!?

NuNativs is me, Ken Locarnini, (more about me here), the mad instigator behind this tribal conversation-builder, and then again, and most importantly, NuNativs is ALL of us.  As David Wolfe says, “We are the heir to all the ages”.  The collective dreams of all humans prior to this time are now culminating in a drive towards a common goal, a blending of universal desire, for paradise on Earth.

NuNativs is an online name I came up with back in the days of CompuServe, and the text based beginning of all things internet.  The limitation then was that your screen name had to be 8 characters or less.  I’ve been calling myself this since then, i.e., my screen persona, alter-ego, super-hero identity.  Of course it stands for “New-Natives”, which incidentally has become the name, spelled proper, of an organic sprout growing business originating in Berkeley California, but I thought of it first, and I’m sticking to it, with it’s ridiculous spelling and all.

The Gist

Ultimately, a NuNativ is one who embraces time-proven, like in eons, from our collective past, methods of thriving in and out of the wilderness, with as little alteration, and disturbance to it as possible.  We research ways that tribal peoples of the past enhanced they’re Lives with migration, open burns to encourage forest growth and similar ideas.  We would ideally work to enhance and accentuate the landscape rather than to remold it into our own image, using eco-nomadics as a permanent  Lifestyle, land/water sharing, wild food sourcing enhancement and knowledge, wild permaculture and food forest creation, eco-campgrounds, and a migratory system of movement focused around the natural power spots of the Earth.

At the same token, we embrace the gifts of the modern era, namely computers and other forms of communication technology, transportation and movement tech, sense-extending tech (think Hubble telescope, for example), and so on, that is rapidly changing the human landscape, and to how we all relate to each other, as we expand our awareness of where we came from and what’s actually around us.  Realizing how powerful these inventions are, we advise a scaling back in size and footprint of these life-enhancing creations.

The Big Picture

All ideas need to be multiplied by the entire human population.  Living for ourselves is no longer an option.  We believe that only through global cooperation, will the human family see the true potential we have come to this planet with.  It is obvious that we can collectively do anything we want on this planet, the heights to which we can rise are truly limitless. We need to ask ourselves, should we treat each other as pawns in a giant chess game, and try and manipulate each other to get what our individuated selves want, or do we see each other as the many faces of the one family, who truly want all to have what makes Life truly worth Living?

In this age of global communications, the barriers and fences have begun to come down, and have revealed that we are much more alike than we are different.  We believe that this Earth can be much more a funhouse, and source of infinite bliss and pleasure, than the “Life is hard, then you Die”, current drama based paradigm.  Let us put our time, effort and technology towards this end and give the basics of the basics, to each other, free of charge, as a gift for being A/Live, welcome to Earth!  A populace with its basic physical needs met, will be naturally peaceful, which we believe is our true nature, as when these things are denied, a human becomes anything but…
